Can you not write it in TO?

The only Canadian locations mentioned in CLEP web page are Langley and Vancouver (both in British Columbia).

I favor the direct approach for things like this. Try walking into a college or two and asking about CLEP and you might find someone who knows the score. Or you might get kicked out but who really needs self-esteem? :)

According to an email that I received from them the other day, "...you may want to review the test center information on the College Board website under 'International'. There are two test centers i8n [sic] British Columbia and one in Toronto."
This conflicts with what is presented at their website, which ironically was modified the day after (the 23rd) they sent me the email.

If memory serves me correctly, the centre used to be at a Jewish religious school, but it was open to all test takers.

Hi Contasm, I am also in TO and am planning to enrol in Excelsior. I was also concerned about CLEP as I did not saw any center in TO. Which exam(s) do you want to take ? How many credits have you already completed from them and how was your overall experience ? Maybe you can share your thoughts. you can send me a private message if you like. ;)

Actually "GRE" exams are affordable, are accepted for credit by Excelsior College and can be written in Toronto and various other Ontario cities.

Credit for Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) Subject Tests

For more information on GRE exams and test centre locations check out...

The only question I have is what is the maximum number of credits Excelsior will award for GRE exams? For example could a person obtain 60 hours via GRE exams?

I don't believe there is a limit on credits earned through GRE subject tests as long as all other requirements are satisfied.

So if a person passes two GRE exams at the 80th percentile they can earn 60 credits?

Does Excelsior award credit for the "General" test?

Someone told me that this academy was no longer operating. I do admit that I could not find a listing for them on yellowpages.ca or google.ca.

    Can anyone verify this claim?
