    Hello again -

As mentioned earlier, I have never been questioned on or off the stand about my education and such and after 25+ years of experience, and usually being much older than any attorney's that are involved (Prosecution or Defense) I usually let my experience, wisdom, professional demeanor, and of course the truth do all the talking for me.

I guess a savvy attorney can make a valid argument about any subject. He/she would not be limited to CCU or DL for that matter.

Steve, your example is interesting but lacks substance. In general, most people outside academia and DL forums do not know much about distance education. Therefore, creating doubt in the minds of the jury about the credentials of someone with an online or correspondence degree would not be difficult, specially for an attorney skillful at selecting the right panel, one unfamiliar with this form of learning.

Brian, do not be concern with Steve’s remarks and carry on with the pursuit of your goals.

How does the course work for the Psych program differ from the course work for the MS Education program?

Each course consists of 4 exams, 3 essays (not 25) and one proctored final.

In my 18+ years as a police officer, I can honestly say the subject of my education has been raised at deposition/trial, many times.

It's usually during civil cases (car accidents, etc.), but I've also been asked during criminal proceedings. The best way to throw a defense lawyer off his game is to ask, "Do you want me to list all my degrees, or just the highest?"

That's usually followed by "Withdraw that". :D

I've had my eye on that program. How big are the essays?
