Good for you Shawn! You're much more courageous than I ... I'm not posting my stats here except that I am turning 50 this year and I want to be healthier than I am now.

I got that far - but what do I do when asked for a domain name?

I have been struggling with losing weight for a few years now - I usually "just make the Army Standard" - but by posting publically, I am holding myself accountable for my progress...

    Shawn's update

After the end of January (5 weeks into my diet & fitness plan) here's my progress report:

    Start weight: 244.0

    Week 1: 5.0 pounds
    Week 2: 4.8 pounds
    Week 3: 3.4 pounds
    Week 4: 3.4 pounds
    Week 5: 2.4 pounds

    Total January loss: 19 pounds
    Current weight: 225.0

I strained an abdominal muscle early in week 3, which set me back on the fitness plan (too many sit-ups too soon). I restarted the running, push-ups and sit-ups this week. I still walked for 30 minutes a day 6 days a week during weeks 3 and 4.

I will take a self-administered APFT at the end of February to assess my fitness progress - but so far I am very pleased with my progress!

Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are doing great. Check into these supplements as far as building muscle and burning fat.

This company makes 100% natural medical grade amino acids. I have been taking them for over 20 years. Great product. I take the Amino balance caps.

    Take care,

    Abner :)

How is the health of your liver? Beans are an excellent source of amino acids.

According to "NATURAL HIGHS: Supplements, Nutrition, and Mind/Body Techniques to Help You Feel Good by Hyla Cass and Patrick Holford. Excellent. Remember, anabol natural supplements are not anabolic steriods. They are 100% pure amino acids, designed to absorb into the body almost immediately.

Thanks for the clarification. When I saw anabol, my eyes lit up :D What are your thoughts on GNC supplements? Currently I take mega men.

I love GNC products. They have been around a long time, and they use quality ingredients without a lot of fillers. GNC sells some good amino acids as well. I go with Anabol naturals because they are pure medical grade quality designed for maximum absorption by the body. The company is great, and they ship out their products almost immediately.
