Which was re-paid in spades even before WWII.

When I was in the Gulf War, after hostilities ended and we were waiting to go home, we were camped at a Saudi military base (King Khalid Military City) next to the French 6th Light Armored Division. We used to play them in pickup volleyball games, and one day one of their sergeants said with a straight face that France would have won WWII without the United States. After explaining to him that his country didn't even exist from 1940-1944, I didn't know whether to laugh in his face, or drive my fist through his face.

Democrats also occupy every Constitutional office....Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Treasurer, State Auditor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State. As I said, they have a virtual stranglehold on state government. The really ironic thing is that when a Republican held the Governor's offce (Weld, Cellucci, Romney), those were some of the best economic times the state has seen in recent years, but the blind sheep of this state would vote for Charles Manson if he had the (D) next to his name.

You have no idea.....Barney Frank is the most arrogant, spiteful, crass, vindictive, rude, and plain old nasty politician I've ever seen in my life. I think even his Democrat colleagues on Beacon Hill got sick of him, and when they re-districted the Congressional map, they purposely included Republican-leaning towns (Attleboro, North Attleborough, Wrentham, Bellingham) in his 4th District, knowing that Frank would either toss in the towel or be beaten in the next election. Frank took the coward's way out, much to the relief of most of the state.

Barney Frank is responsible for the mortgage meltdown for his hand in Fannie and Freddie.

And don't forget: Maxine Waters: “We do not have a crisis at Freddie Mac and particularly Fannie Mae under the outstanding leadership of Frank Raines”
