First, I would like to apologize to Tom Head for providing excellent advise to me in some earlier post. I tried to e-mail you to no avail. Secondly, has anyone had any experience with the UNISA post graduate department. Several UNISA Sociology and other department officials, told me to contact them regarding some rather basic doctoral admissions questions. I have tried to contact them no less than 15 times over a three week period, only to be left hanging on the telephone line or to be repeatedly told I guess someone will come into that office later in the day.

I've come to the conclusion that the post graduate doesn't care if anyone ever enrolls properly at UNISA! At least the response from the Zululand University was pleasant, rapid, and to the point. Feedback Please!

Funny, when I wrote the Technikon of Southern Africa, I asked, "Is it possible for a student to pursue the Doctor of Technology in Education degree while living in the United States?" They're answer: "Yes." Hey, it was better than when I asked that question last year and got no response.

Rich Douglas, who suspects the African universities aren't nearly as interested in us as we are in them.
