The statistics are disturbing “A low-income student is four times less likely to earn a bachelor’s degree than their wealthier peers. Similarly, students with disabilities earn bachelor’s degrees at less than half the rate of adults without disabilities.“ As many of us have been saying, tuition is a barrier to education, not a success factor. Removing tuition does not automatically gives anyone a degree. It levels the playing field (open doors) so disadvantaged people can have a shot at an education. All this nonsense of cleping, alexing, or whatever ever scheme is disheartening. Parents and their children who are chasing these alternative way of earnings cheap credits are the heroes.

Removing ideologies, somethings in life are pretty simple. Tuition is a barrier to education for the poor and those with disabilities. Even if tuition is removed, there is still years of hardwork and sacrifice from the “self” to achieve the degree. It is likely that it will be the same people who have to borrowed for the tuition will be the same people living in poverty with high student loans, unemployed or underemployed.
