I'm writing to announce the launch of Bellevue University's Human Capital Lab! As its Executive Director, I want to invite you to check it out and to get involved. There are a few opportunities I wanted you, in particular, to know about.

    Our website is: https://humancapitallab.org/

The Lab is a virtual community of human capital scholars and practitioners, working together to elevate professional practice in areas like human capital management, talent development, strategic leadership, and distance learning. And here’s the good part: everything the Human Capital Lab does is free to all participants! It is a totally non-commercial venture.

The Lab is currently focused in three areas:

    · Human Capital Lab Podcast. The podcast explores the intersection between learning and the lives of people impacted by access to learning and the opportunities to apply what they’ve learned to meaningful ventures. We’re seeking people interested in being interviewed on the podcast.

    · Project Support. Bellevue University’s doctoral programs prepare mid-career professionals to solve current problems across industries and to address the complexities of today’s business landscape with vision, knowledge, and clarity. Our doctoral students do not write traditional dissertations at the end of their programs. Instead, they complete research-based doctoral projects in the workplace that prepare them to be experts and thought leaders on specific topics. We’d like to bring together our students and potential hosts for their research.

    · Communities of Practice. The Human Capital Lab Communities of Practice are engaging and enlightening groups of professionals with expertise in the study and practice of important segments of talent management and development. Meeting virtually and self-managed, these communities provide vital peer support and learning for human capital professionals from around the globe. We’re seeking both participants in these (and other?) communities of practice, as well as facilitators to lead them. Currently, we’re looking to establish communities of practice in:

    o Human Capital Management

    o Talent Development

    o Strategic Leadership

    o Distance Learning

If you’re interested in participating in one or more of the above areas, please see https://humancapitallab.org/ for more information and to get involved. We will never share your email or other information with anyone, ever. Really.
