Tom - You can check out on-line programs at Kettering University (www.kettering.edu). They include:

Master of Science in Information Technology - this is definitely new since 2002

Master of Science in Manufacturing Operations - new since 2002

Master of Science in Engineering - including CAE and Mechanical design. I think these are new.

Our older programs MS in Operations Management and MS in Manufacturing Management.

    Regards - Andy

Can you please point me toward new programs that the Open University of Catalonia has? I am not aware of any new ones.

Plus many others at Pepperdine's EdD in Organizational Change and links to others

Looks like it costs about $27K per year for 4 or 5 years. And people complain that UoP is expensive?

Does anyone know current cost information? The website doesn't have it, and my e-mail to them requesting it went unanswered.

It's moderately difficult to tell from the Leicester website (which is one of the more confusing around), but I'd be willing to bet that the international student part-time fee of £4050 ($7635 at current rates) per annum is what you'd be paying. http://www.le.ac.uk/gradschool/fees.html

    Good evening, Rich!

The current price structure is 10,500 pounds, payable in three equal installments. If you'd like, I can e-mail my tutor or the course administrator to verify that the cost will remain the same for upcoming intakes.

    Regards,

    James

Thanks, James. That's about what it cost the last time I received information about it. :)

    Good afternoon!

According to the course administrator, the cost of the DSocSci (HRD) program is going up with the next available intake in September 2005. The total cost for tuition fees will be 11,795 pounds (plus postage) payable in installments over the first three years of the program.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

    Regards,

    James

    Am I understanding this correctly?

Is the tuition about 4K GBP per year? Or is it 12K per year?

John - Angela is correct in noting that the tuition fees for new students will be around 4,000 pounds per year for three years.

Angela - Please don't wake them up over in the finance office. I would prefer it if they don't hear how expensive the doctoral programs are in the US and elsewhere. :)

    Rich,

Thank you very much. A bargain, no?

Actually, when you take into account the conversion rate, it's pretty consistent with most master's programs, which run in the $20,000's USD. You could argue and say that it is a 'bargain'.

I thought we were discussing the price of the doctoral program, not the master's?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bear's Guide requests help!

Rich, I can't speak for Josh, but when I quoted 11,795 pounds (plus postage) for the entire program in my follow-up post, I meant the doctoral program.

    James

You're right....my mind was somewhere else when I made that typing error. It is cheap for a doctoral program. Most of the doctorate programs i've seen total in the high $30k.
