Are you having difficulty hearing yourself? I heard you and provided you with a clear response. The only thing to add is that a "leopard can't change its spots".

There was no response at all. Do you think you were justified to ridicule someone's career like that? A simple "yes" or "no".

If you did provide a clear response, cut-and-paste it into your response to me here, and I'll apologize for missing it and accusing you of not making it.

A direct quote from FTFaculty from a previous thread is worth repeating:

THREAD: Is it necessary to lock a discussion.

"Crap. Am I acting like a 12 year old? I never know until my wife tells me"

Suggestion for FTFaculty: Take your own advice and speak with your wife (lol).

Again, let's stay on track, do you feel justified and good about yourself ridiculing Steve's career?

As you stated, your wife will put this matter in perspective (LOL).

Simple "yes" or "no" will suffice. And my wife is definitely all about letting one's "'yes" be 'yes' and their 'no' be 'no'." Might look that up. Look, you're not ticking me off by bringing my wife into this. Just answer the question.

Have you discussed this obsession with your local bartender (LOL)? I wish you did because I will have to speak with mine. You can give a cadaver a headache (LOL),

Technically you can use anything you want on the signature line of an email unless you are using a legally protected title (e.g CPA MD, etc). However, if you use something like "Advance Graduate Study" or anything similar, people will thing that you are just trying to impress others with a irrelevant title.

I don't think it's too much to ask that one who claims to possess a higher degree have a grasp on elementary grammar.

So apparently you either think ridiculing another on a public forum about their profession is a noble or acceptable thing or you're simply unwilling to admit that you acted like a fool and don't want to face the man in the mirror. That's fine, best to you.

Now we see the real you. GOOD! Passive aggressive, contemptuous and vindictive, under the guise of attempting to establish "detente", just as I previously observed.

Jan, in all candor, all I've really asked for is a simple response: do you think it's a good thing to mock another's profession in the manner that you did? Will you answer that?

By the way, I'm not going to apologize for pointing out to you that your grammar is an indication of an uneducated person. This is something you can fix, it doesn't mean you're stupid, just not fully educated. That's why most of us are here, to seek advice on how to round out those educations and I've given you some.

I welcome anyone else's comments on what they think I am and what they think you are based on our behavior on this forum--absolutely welcome it. How do you think you'd fare in that analysis, Jan?

Passive aggressive, contemptuous, demeaning, hostile and undermining. Nothing new here.

One other point. You know you got tagged and your real self is out in the open and now are attempting to enlist other posters to come to your aid. I actually feel sorry for you that you need to use this forum to gain self-esteem and to reinforce your sense of worth by engaging in such inconsequential "debates". Pathetic.

In more uplifting news to the forum, just got word that I became a first-time grandpa just minutes ago. Grandson doing fine, mom doing fine, dad doing fine. Strutting around with chest out.

Thanks, Kizmet, mommy and grandbaby doing great. Mom had some nasty blood pressure issues, but thank God for good doctors, they got her stabilized and now everything looks great. Baby boy. Both mom and dad are accountants, so he'll probably either become a full on partner in a Big 4 accounting firm...or become a rebel and grow up to be an artist living in the funky district near downtown.

Hey Jan, help me out on this one . . . projection, right? Isn't that what you're doing? Giving us an example of projection?
