Any Studying Tips for the English Literature CLEP?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how and what to study to pass the English Literature CLEP exam. I barely passed the American Literature CLEP a couple of months ago, and I am concerned that the English Literature exam will be harder. I suppose my reasoning has to do with the fact that England is an "older" nation, and therefore, has more writers and historical timeframes to memorize than does the U.S.
