Columbia Southern... in the house!!!
I looked at Columbia Southern once. How are the programs?
Yes, I am. CSU is really great for me.
Amberton U over here!!!
CSU's programs are great, at least for me, the classes are structured perfectly for a person with an unknown schedule. For example, military students that cannot predict deployment schedules or connectivity overseas.
The only thing CSU is missing is the interaction with other students such as class forums/discussion, so far I have only had 1 class with this requirement. But the fact that this is not a requirement is the reason I chose CSU, lack of availability on my part. I like to get the syllabus with assignments and expectations (I am an independent learner), submit assignments and take exams and I am done, then sign up for the next one.
Just like any school, each is structured a little different and not every student will be happy, but for me this was the best I found at that time, since then many more schools have improved their distance learning programs, so there are many more options to choose from nowadays.....
hi there, have a good friend that studied there.
See if you can do a search for a member by the name of Jamie Gauthier. He went to CSU, and really liked it. He is a full time cop (Detective?), and he is also been doing some teaching gigs. The CSU degree has served him well. Of course, he is highly motivated.
Jamie Gauthier's profile is here: http://forums.degreeinfo.com/member.php?u=7018 .
