Dude, you did NOT just compare 2017 America with 1933 Germany! Talk about a self-goal.

Stanislav, if you are suggesting that the following two political concepts are compared side-by-side, then you are correct:
    • 1933 Paramilitary Wing of the Communist Party of Germany
    • 2017 Parammilitary Wing of the Democratic Party of America
The Antifa members in the United States have their signature trademarks:
    • Antifa wears all-black clothing. So did the Nazi SS.
    • Antifa wears black masks to cover their identities during their riots.
    • Antifa uses "organized violence" against persons and property.
Antifa are alt.left extremists and the MSM (fake news) originally portrayed them as a "grass roots uprising," which is a laughable lie. They are paid-for provocateurs and paid-for actors. Please click here to see pics of Antifa and please note their face masks and all-black clothing and their flags and symbols. Mainstream America rejects Antifa and all it stands for politically.

Striking similarities between the logos. Leads me to believe the designer of the logo was either being lazy or was himself/herself comparing the two eras. I thought that was the point of Antifa, that they are standing up against mindsets similar to those in Italy and Germany in the 30s. I think they would compare the two eras and claim they're trying to prevent another uprising of fascism, isn't that their main point?

At least Antifa is not racists. They don't have nazis on their side like the alt right does.

Abner, Antifa (communists) and Nazis (socialists) are both alt-left totalitarian ideologies that do not tolerate opposing political views.
    • Communists (Antifa) gulags imprisoned and slaughtered people based on ideology.
    • Nazis (socialists) concentration camps imprisoned and slaughtered people based on race.
    Abner, pick your poison wisely.

Not saying Antifa isn't a poison, I believe it is. But it's a very different poison from Nazism. The comparison isn't fair. The Nazis were about dictatorial control of the institutions of the state to enforce their policies by force, and they came to prominence through the use of violence and civil disobedience (though they came to power by political manipulation). They were inherently racist and jingoistic. Antifa is more about anarchy and fighting the institutions that seek to control--through in some cases via similar civil disobedience and violence--but for very different ends, as they are inherently anti-racist and anti-jingoistic. There is some commonality, but there is a lot more difference.

I remember that. Jello got very disenchanted with the punk movement when some of it veered into the hard right.

Antifa is only less of a threat than the alt-right because they are smaller. Both movements are cancer.

OK, let's try again. So apparently for some people, comparing some group with a movement caled Antifaschistische Aktion in 1993 Germany is a smear.
Let's try this angle: there's a remarkable 94-year-old guy in our church, who served in the Workers and Peasants' Red Army in the 1940ies. Yet, he is a lifetime member of the Canadian Legion. Why is that?
