We get a lot of people inquiring abouthow to become a K-12 teacher and typically someone will mention that there are "alternative routes..." Well, we at DI are all about alternative routes and so I thought I'd post this link. It from the US Dept of Education and it's basic info on alternative routes. If you check your own state's Dept of Ed website you'll discover the details for where you live/work.

Thanks, Kizmet. I've also considered becoming a teacher. I'm sure someone is itching to point out- and I will therefore cut you off at the pass on this one- that there is hardly anything that I HAVEN'T considered. One thing I do know in any case is that I am all about alternative routes. Whatever is less expensive, most convenient and either equally or similarly effective works for me. This is a thread that we will probably be referring a lot of people to.

Online certification courses are becoming very popular today. There are many online educational institutions are offering online courses based on many of subjects. This online educational institution UNI-Prep is offering online courses based on Project Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Management and TESOL. It is a prudent online institution which is very adequate to provide you the keen certificate based on selected subject.
