Advice needed re: Masters w/out Bachelors

    Of course not. I'm saying that an applicant to HBS can be admitted without a bachelors degree in some instances. Not sure how you came to the conclusion that there was anything that wasn't above board about that young man being admitted to HBS....

    Right, because Harvard would have made the same rare exception for anyone else's personal assistant. :rolleyes:

    Wharton accepted Obama's assistant....granted he graduated from Duke, but still. I actually know Reggie and what his job entailed. No way you could do that job for anyone other than the POTUS and get schools like HBS and Wharton to take a second look at you.

    Did Harvard allow the rare exception because it was GWB, or would the same courtesy have been given to any POTUS assistant (Republican or Democrat)?

    Oh, any POTUS assistant, I expect. But doesn't seem meaningfully more egalitarian than if they only bent the rules for a particular one of them.
