I need some advise. I am looking for a online school where I can get at least an associates degree in accounting fast. I would like to complete the degree within two years. Then move on to a bachelors. An associates degree will get my foot in the front door. I have no credits to transfer so I am starting from zero. I have checked into Penn Foster & Peru State College (they only offer bachelors). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Pat in Alaska
Try New York Institute of Technology - Ellis College. They offer AAS in accounting. http://ellis.nyit.edu/schools/associate/accounting.php
Post University is another. They also offer the AAS in accounting: http://www.post.edu/online/accounting.shtml
Okay, so here's some more: Bryant & Stratton College http://www.bryantstratton.edu/online/degree.aspx?d=40 Liberty University http://www.liberty.edu/index.cfm?PID=11305 I really like the Liberty University option. You only have to take 15 credit hours through Liberty to graduate. The rest can be taken as CLEP credits. It's possible to finish in maybe a couple of semesters with this option. South University Baker College Excelsior College Thomas Edison State College Charter Oak College
Hello there! Penn Foster also has an Associate Program in Accounting is National Accredited degree by the DETC and credits are ACE evaluated. another School is Ashworh College, Now Aswhorth University, and if you put effort you can finish your AS in less than two years, they also DETC accredited. But if you are looking for RA they are a lot of options out there, and member point out some. I hope this help, good luck! Vini Rosa
Yes! I have no life: 6 more courses I will be done with the MBA in Finance 3 more Exams and I will be a CPA 3 more years and I will be a DBA in Accounting
I wanted to complement my other accounting credentials,(A finance degree has more pull than an accounting one) Not really, not duplicated. Some Universities has similar classes and will transfer only 6 credits and you will take duplicate classes, With CSU I was able to transfer 18 credits, so was either do a certificate or do the MBA, I selected the MBA. And that was fine with me. Vini Rosa
Dude, great to hear from you! I think you have my email address; I'd like to catch up sometime and hear about your experiences with the Argosy DBA in Accounting. Dave
