I do not. The lawsuit happened around '97 or '98. In the last couple of years, a new tutoring company has started in Gainesville, and the owner tells me he has been harassed from faculty. They accuse him of copyright infringement - that he is using their old exams in his reviews. (He doesn't, all his material is made by him or the tutors he hires.) They go over all his material with a fine tooth comb and so far have not found anything.

Going back even further (circa 1980s) a former UF accounting professor and avid pilot, started his own company writing CPA and FAA exam review guides that became wildly popular - Gleim Publications. I've heard he made millions, so there might be some bad blood there.

Maybe, if there was an honest judge in Florida, UF would be forbidden to file lawsuits unless they obtained a judge's permission first.

Well, gosh; I never made the connection. I used to use the Gleim study guides to prepare for my pilot's license and now I'm studying accounting. How ironic.
