    Given the downfall of ACICS , the other "National" accreditors (when the "Regional" distinction was still allowed) wanted a piece of the newly-opened pie. It's only natural that ACCET would want its share and try to increase its scope. According to Jonathan's links, they've had plans on the drawing board since 2016.

    It would be nice to have this scandal-free accreditor take over part of the business. I say "Welcome!" :)
    Another accreditor started with non-degree courses and then gradually increased their scope. Made a pretty good thing out of it, too. Now what do they call it? ...Oh yeah, DEAC! :)
