No transferring that I know of. You could possibly get credit for the knowledge gained by standardized tests or, less likely, portfolio credits. This is assuming you learn a thing or two, something I am not qualified to comment on having never taken a cours at CCU.

You should consider asking them. ("Them" being Excelsior College, Regents' new name.) But hold your phone a bit away from your ear so it won't hurt so much when they shout NO!

    I agree with Tony's answer.

It is extremely unlikely that Excelsior will accept any course credit from California Coast University. BUT...

Excelsior (and Thomas Edison and Charter Oak) are pretty liberal about accepting credit by examination. In past threads, people on this newsgroup have sworn up and down that it's possible to get abundant credit from things like CLEP and GRE exams, after no more than skimming one of those review books.

I don't know if that's true or not. But assuming that it is, Cal Coast obviously provides a much better educational experience than that, so it might just serve as very good exam preparation.

That's how I would appproach turning state approved undergraduate classes into regionally accredited credit. It would work for independent study, on the job training, or for any kind of non-RA education.

That's why the exams were created.

I completed a BS from CCU and later took several CLEP,DANTES, and ECE exams in a very short period of time. The CCU classes did help prepare for the exams.
