    #1: "I have published academic articles."
    #2: "Great. What are they?"
    #1: "I'm not going to say."
    #2: "Okay, but that doesn't show that you did."
    #1: "I'm out of here."

    I'm not sure how this is "circular," but it was certainly an on-topic exchange. And sorry, if you're anonymous, you can't use yourself as an authoritative source.
