AACSB DBA - Is there an Inexpensive one?

    If I cannot escape having to do MA level classes, I'd rather do these with a US-based university. It's beginning to look like I will need an MBA first. An ACCSB MBA, most likely dia DL.

    You probably wouldn't have to do classes per se... just research to get the MPhil or MRes... which would continue on to the DBA/PhD.

    An inexpensive AACSB DBA? That'll be difficult to find. The proposed University of Florida DBA, if it materializes, will be $70,000 and Kennesaw's DBA is a deal at a "mere" $50,000. Not sure on the tuition and fees for the European dissertation-only AACSB DBAs.

    I think Grenoble is currently at $42k (from memory, don't quote me on that).

    I don't want to hijack this thread. To discuss the issue of whether MBA followed by PhD if more affordable than joining a PhD program (and doing an MPhil or MRes then PhD).
