    "Psychiatrists often find themselves in a trap - while they often like to conduct therapy, economics tends to drive them into medication management (maybe 5-8 med consults an hour at 300 per vs. 1 therapy patient at 300 per)."

    That also has to do with training - some psychiatric schools are primarily medication focused while others are more therapy based... It also has to do with mind set - but I won't go there ;)
