They are trying to reinvent the wheel. The Air Force has the Community College of the Air Force. They can take their blueprint and run with it. Glad to see this is being done though. It makes educationally stuff much better for enlisted.
Indeed, military ace conversion doesn't always articulate the way veterans were led to believe. I generally strive to be generous when I do transcript evaluations, but the courses are often just not applicable to a given program. Hopefully they can have these start accumulating towards some military themed interdisciplinary associates of applied science degree. That would help immensely with continuing their education and opening up pathways of opportunity.

Steve my old friend, are you still in Virginia? I think I'm impressed. I hope to keep an eye on this one. I'm curious to see how it works out over time. "Mission First" and OP TEMPO play such a role in the priorities of the Sea Services . Perhaps a little unspoken competition among the three sea services will be good for all involved.
