The House passed the bill, No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act, 422-2-1, on Wednesday evening. Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) voted present, and Tlaib and Bush were the sole votes against the measure, which now heads to the Senate.

 

Such a statute is a stupid piece of political theater and a waste of time. EVERY applicant for an immigrant visa and most non-immigrant visas undergoes a background check already and terrorists need not apply. Many aliens don't require visas to come here; unless such Canadians or Bahamians are on a watch list no one will stop them.

 

AOC is the only Squad member who has any brains.
