Sometimes a joke is a perl of great price or a ruby in the rough, other times it's just a slippery python. Either way, you just have to go with it.

Hmm, this is my list of Ivy Minus Institutions (in order of reputation)
Same institutions as mentioned by another member, but in a different order.

    1. University of Phoenix
    2. Capella University > Devry University
    3. Walden University > Capella University
    4. Strayer University
    5. Devry University > Walden University

Two schools that have left the league: Ashford University and Kaplan University.
In regards to these two, they both got bought out by Public/State universities.

The University of Chicago offers an online Master of Liberal Arts.
    https://masterliberalarts.uchicago.edu/
Optional concentrations are Ethics and Leadership, Literary Studies, or Tech and Society. "Each course consists of weekly, synchronous sessions—scheduled on weekday evenings and Saturdays— in which you’ll talk in detail about the topics raised in the assigned reading." There is an optional one-week residency.

I'm surprised so many on this forum are unfamiliar with this term. It's been around for decades. It's not a marketing term. It's an acknowledgement that these schools have the same level of prestige. Most people don't think of the Ivy League as a sports. Most people probably don't even know it was a sports league.

To be honest, in my case it's less unfamiliarity and more of a kneejerk reaction against elitism.
