The hospital cafeteria, where I'm hanging out after Marina's (successful) 15-hour spine surgery, had a full Thanksgiving dinner . . . but they'd run out by the time I got there, and had only one thing left. Perhaps Squanto also brought the Pilgrims vegetarian lasagna.
Maybe. Something I didn't know. Squanto was kidnapped TWICE and taken to Europe - once to England, once to Spain. Escaped and made it back home. Threatened his own people - do what he said or he'd have the English release the plague from pits where (he said) they were storing it. https://www.biography.com/people/squanto-9491327 Wishing all of you a great Christmas - thanks for an interesting year. J.
Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year. Thanks for the interesting facts you post, like this about Squanto. I really didn't know that much about Squanto before, but now I do!
That reminds of when I go to the Kaiser cafeteria. They have several vegetarian food items. I don't like most of it. I am a true meat eater.
I am a vegetarian. I do not eat vegetables... I believe in them. (I mean, do humanitarians eat humans? Authoritarians do not eat government employees, and grammarians do not chew on books.)
