Job opportunity: Need a degree plan FAST! Please help

    If anyone is reading this very long thread: here's my update!
    I got an alternative certification. I just accepted my second HS Art teaching position, double the salary from when I started this thread 4 years ago.
    I was accepted to be an AP Reader in Studio Art and have a 100% passing rate for my students in Advanced Placement.
    I talk to kids who are rich and poor and tell them that they can do absolutely anything they put their minds to......providing they have a degree!
    I owe so much to this forum: I went from feeling like I was not good enough to top of my game by going a nontraditional route. Now my mantra is that education does NOT have to cost as much as it does, there are ways around the system and ABSOLUTELY anyone is good enough to do it!
