Understood, which is why I responded the way I did, which was to highlight the fact that not all graduate psychology degrees are alike. Even within the specific field of forensic psychology, there can be major differences. Someone PM'ed me not too long ago when they were considering either the forensic psych programs offered by the University of North Dakota (a 30 or so credit academic, non-clinical program) versus MSPP, which is a 60-credit, completely clinical program.

The difference is night and day.....I told the member who PM'ed me that if you want to actually provide therapy in addition to academic training, then MSPP is the way to go. If they just wanted the academic training with no clinical component, then I said the UND program would be a fine choice.

    Not my reasons, but:

10101) So you can improve your Artificial Intelligence/Intelligent Systems programming.
10110) When the PhD in Psychology tries to sell you the latest Intelligent System that uses Psychological Principles, you can cut through the BS.
