I would have gotten Magna if my school had offered. Was annoyed when I found out they didn't, but oh well.

I entered Liberty University Fall 2009 and graduate with a M.A. with a 3.665 from the seminary but did not get cum laude because any student entering on or after Fall 2009 would no longer get Latin honors. So ironically many seminary graduates in 2011 (when I graduated) have a lower GPA (3.50+) and received Latin honors. Simply because they had entered LU before I did. In other words there are many out in the world who have cum laude written on their hanging diploma-- same date as mine --and have lower GPA. Seems a bit unfair!

However, I am on track for graduating with distinction with the Ed.S. degree. Which is more significant and difficult prize to attain in that you need a 3.90 GPA. I am 70% finished and have a 3.925 GPA. Might just do it.

Troy University did not give out honor, SMU did...but not receive any. Over all, I don't like CUM. :)

No latin honors and overall undergrad of 3.3 with a few courses taken pass/fail, and a few dropped after deadline. Hindsight says I should have taken those pass/fails for grade point and paid attention to drop dates.

I finished with a 4.0 in the MA program, and my diploma lists "with high distinction."

Although I graduated with a 4.0, my school would not award me with honors because I transferred in with an Associates and did not take enough courses in residence to qualify (I was DL).

Summa Cum Laude, 3.95, ya!! I was a 4.0 until TWO A- came ahh knockin' on my GPA! However, it's still in the official NYIT book Latin Honors.

I got The Golden Key International Honour Society invite too, took it!!
