There are many degrees available on-line from public or non-profit schools in the USA, UK, or Canada. Here are a few BS degrees in various subjects: CSUB has a BS in Environmental Resource Management http://www.csub.edu/erm/ CSUDH has BS degrees in Applied Studies, Nursing, and Quality Assurance http://dominguezonline.csudh.edu/programs.php Indiana State has BS degrees in several areas http://www1.indstate.edu/tech/academics/distance.htm Birkbeck (University of London) a BSc in geology or earth sciences http://www.bbk.ac.uk/study/ug/distancelearning/index.html Embry-Riddle offers BS degrees in Logistics or in Occupational Safety & Health http://worldwide.erau.edu/degrees-programs/undergraduate.html Penn State offers several bachelor degrees http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/ Athabasca (Canada) has several BS degree programs - I don't know much about this school but others on this forum can help if you need more information. http://www2.athabascau.ca/programs/undergraduate.php But why not consider the big three – quite a few members of this forum have earned their degrees from there and gone on to higher degree programs. I earned my BS thru Excelsior but 117 out of 120 units were earned at brick and mortar campuses around the USA and in the UK. These days the big three may be the lowest cost approach to earning a regionally accredited degree. I hope this helps.
Have you considered getting those lower level general education credits done at a community college? I was able to do some of my general education that I couldn't test out of with my local community college online for a very low price. A lot of community colleges are offering online classes; you should see if your local one does. Anyways, everyone here is very helpful and much more knowledgeable in DL topics than I, but it would help everyone help you if you mention the state you reside in and your intended major. There's alot out there, and the DL options are consistently growing. Good luck!
Hi - There are so many programs that fit your description we couldn't possibly list them all here. If you can tell us your area(s) of interest then we can definitely give you some leads.
I would agree that your inquiry is a little broad; however, Marshall University offers a RBA in general studies or with an area of emphasis online. This program is unique for the adult learner. http://www.marshall.edu/rba/faq.asp Some the general degree requirements are a little less stringent, and it allows for some flexibility. The school is excellent: quality instructors, low student to teacher ratios, and a very helpful administrative staff. I attained my BA in fine arts from there. Jerri Clagg is the program administrator for the RBA program, and she would be more than willing to assist you.
