The University of Leicester has a Masters degree program in Museum Studies offered through distance learning. It's not exactly what you've asked for but it might do if you have no alternatives. http://www.le.ac.uk/ms/
Is anybody aware of a low-residency RA Doctoral program in Art History (or a closely related field) here in the states? I could probably do a few campus visits a year if required.
Have you looked at TUI? Their Ph.D. in interdisciplinary studies might meet your needs. http://www.tui.edu/programs/prospective.asp
Mansfield University of Pennsylvania offers an MEd in Art Education which can incorporate a strong Art History component.
Academy of Art University (MFA) and Savannah Art and Design (MA) are primarily applied art but they do include some art history curriculum in their offerings. Both are RA and neither is inexpensive.
I haven't checked the board recently and am wondering if anyone has seen anything new come along in graduate-level art history courses or degrees. It's a bit exhausting doing google searches and, unfortunately, I haven't seen anything new. Thank you in advance for any leads!
Maybe you're ready for a non-US program? http://www.hss.adelaide.edu.au/art_history/ma/ http://www.unisa.ac.za/Default.asp?Cmd=ViewContent&ContentID=19754
Thanks, that was super fast and very thoughtful of you! I searched the UNISA website and the doctoral degree looks intriguing: However, I'm having trouble with the site. I first went here:http://www.unisa.ac.za/Default.asp?Cmd=ViewContent&ContentID=19760 which states "Honours, MA and DLitt et Phil degrees in Art History". I clicked "DLitt et Phil degrees in Art History" which brings me here: http://brochure.unisa.ac.za/brochure/showlist.aspx?d=l_2_8 However, there's no mention on the second link of Art History being available for doctoral study. Can anyone make heads or tails of this? Again, thank you
