looking for TRACS accreditation http://www.enterprisepub.com/news/local_news/charis-university-to-seek-accreditation/article_1272367a-5f77-11e8-a7eb-6f39ad48cce4.html
If they'd asked me, I'd have advised against a name that (a) will be confused with another Christian school, Charis Bible College, one state over, and (b) a great many people will mispronounce.
The school John described, Charis Bible College, is an unaccredited school in Colorado that is indirectly affiliated with the TRACS/ABHE accredited school The King's University in Texas. Lest we forget, there was also the Charis Divinity School in Florida, which a mill that generated a 14-page thread at DD that has to be one of the funniest reads ever to appear on a DL forum. It's at http://www.degreediscussion.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3478.
Yes - I remember it. Re-read it with pleasure! The Holy Mother School of Danzig, Kersey, Prade & Bikini-Shoots ... what an amazing confluence - or effluence, perhaps! As the late Uncle Janko remarked in that thread: I can read nine languages; words fail me. "Oh, oh. Ny. Ny ny. Ny ny na foy foy. Nneh. Waaaaah." --Mel Brooks as the Talking Baby (Reiner and Brooks)
Steve - one can also find the Charis Divinity School "Heavy Revvy's" books (and extensive bio.) on Amazon. He markets himself as a tech guru in these post-religious-school-and-bikini-website days. Educational tech, largely. I believe he has a related Master's from Full Sail U. No - this is not an endorsement, just an update.
