Got a "like" notification today. When I go to it, it doesn't show me the post someone "liked" so I don't understand the point ??
I'd like to agree with Jennifer. It's almost like the system expects us to understand implicitly where this "like" is directed. If I had my way I"d like to see if the "likes" could be used in a way that's more like an approval rating. If you'd like, I could have a word with Chip and if he likes the idea of changing the "likes" then we could get some feedback as to whether people like the change. And then we'd know if people like the new "likes" or if they prefer the old "likes" or perhaps they'd like to see the "likes" be used in some other likewise manner. Likelikelikelikeblahblahblahlikelikelikeblah. likelikelikelikelikelikelikelike. I'd like to suggest that someone could realistically reference this post in the Complaint Department thread.:tapedshut:
<cough> I'm not complaining. Seriously. I was confused. If you are on Facebook and you get a "like" it shows you the post referenced...just sayin.
Well....since we're talkin' about it....and bein' relatively knew here....and seein' as this version of vBulletin is set up differently than the 'other one'.... Besides not having any idea why/from whom we get them, I can't figure out how one goes about sending them either. I have looked, and hunted, and cannot find a "to send a like, press here."
I don't seem to be able to do anything with "likes" in the search pane, like search for posts and rank them by number of likes, or exclude posts that Craniac likes. Phillip
