I never seem to get email notifications when someone responds to a thread I have participated in. Does everybody else get them? Chip or Kizmet, can you please check into this? Thanks, Abner
As a matter of fact, I just deleted a couple of notifications, so I know it's working Are you subscribed to some threads?
Hi Abner - When you reply to a posting there is a box marked "Additional Options" located under the reply text box. The third option is termed "Thread Subscription." There you will find four options regarding email notifications. I believe they are currently functioning. If you discover they are not then please let me know and I'll look into it further.
Gotcha. I was not looking for that because it looked diiferent before the revamp. I can also click the option for email notifications when I start a new thread correct? Thanks, Abner
Thanks Kizmet!! I enjoy your posts as well! Well, I am getting the notifications which is good, however, when I click on the link to open up the thread in question, this pops up: Not Found The requested URL /forums/showthread.php was not found on this server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) PHP/5.2.0-8+etch10 Server at www.degreeinfo.com Port 80 Thanks! Abner, Is the link that's causing the error a link you're receiving in your emails? Or otherwise, where is the link. If you can post it here, I have a suspicion what might be causing the problem. Thanks! - Chip

It has to do with the fact that the main part of the board (with the articles and such) isn't online at the moment so for now, www.degreeinfo.com is pointed to the same place as forums.degreeinfo.com. I think vbulletin was getting confused because of the two different URLs pointing to the same place. I hope that I've fixed it. If you are still seeing the error, post the message again and I will take another look. Thanks! - Chip
