Any good masters degree programs in project management? I've come across two so far. One from Penn State (http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/MasterinProjectManagement.shtml) and the other from Boston University (http://www.bu.edu/online/online_programs/graduate_degree/master_management/project_management/index.html). Thanks in advance!
Mississippi State offers a DL MBA with a PM concentration: http://www.distance.msstate.edu/mba/mbapm.html Mississippi State lost to Memphis in the second round of this year's March Madness. Its football team won its rivalry game against Ole Miss, and went on to win the Liberty Bowl against Central Florida.
Aspen University offers an MBA Project Management, a Master of Science in Information Technology, and a Master of Science in Information Management with a concentration in project management. The price is USD900.00 per course but Aspen University frequently advertises a discounted prepaid tuition of approximately USD4500.00. If you are not in a rush, you could save some money by waiting.
Northeastern University, School of Professional and Continuing Studies, Master of Science in Project Management, 3 qh classes cost $1,467 while 4 qh classes go for $1,956. Northeastern Online - University of Virginia, School of Continuing & Professional Studies, Online Graduate Certificate in Project Management, Out-of-State DL grad tuition = $337/credit hour. - University of Denver University College, Master of Applied Science in Technology Management, Project Management concentration, $417/qh, $20,016 for the 48 qh degree program.
UW-Platteville. http://www.uwplatt.edu/disted/degrees/pm/index.html I see that the UC Davis PM certificate will earn 12 credits towards this degree.
Also, Missouri State has a PM concentration for thier MSAS. http://msonline.missouristate.edu/courses/msas.htm
aspen seems to be really a great choice from the money factor. but why in god's name is their website so crappy. i looked at it some time ago and it still has this 90'th feeling about it. they'd get some redesign on elance or such for the cost of one semester hour. if some employer is googeling the university up, it kinda really sucks if the website looks kinda handmade.
Thanks all for the responses so far. Found a good program at George Washington University as well. I'm sure others will benefit from this thread. http://business.gwu.edu/grad/mspm/index.html
I like the fact that they take credits if you have the PMP certification but I don't like that you have to do a one week residency in D.C. to complete your degree. "Distance students complete a one-week residency in Washington, DC prior to completion of the degree."
Good morning! Western Carolina University has a good program, and more information can be seen at http://www.wcu.edu/1345.asp on the web. Also, the Project Management Institute website shows various programs at http://www.pmi.org/CareerDevelopment/Pages/Degree-Directory.aspx and http://www.pmi.org/CareerDevelopment/Pages/Candidate-Degree-Programs.aspx but you will have to follow the links to confirm which programs are online and which are residential in nature. Good luck with your search!
