I contacted them and they said until the school has a chacne to review their findings, they will not release the results.

I contacted TUI as well. They said "check our website", and I did, but nothing was on there about probation. I checked with them about it again, explaining it is not on their website (an oversight? ) , and they said to check with the accreditation agency if I wanted information, as they would not comment. They won't comment on their own program????? They are not handling this well.

    Still trolling I see Han?

Wow Han ... that must really be a large axe
that you have to grind with TUI?

"They won't comment on their own program?????
They are not handling this well."

Really? TUI is RA ... what's to comment on?

Interesting that YOU have concluded that they
are not handling this well ... Amazing really!

Speaking of answering questions ... I noticed
that you failed to answer my question to you,
    instead you replied:

    >1. I don't represent any school.

Nice dodge ... OK, so what school(s) are you a
student at currently or have completed programs
with in the past? Your background here is?

    I mean ....

Gee Han, you won't comment on YOUR own
program???? YOU are not handling this well.

    B-) B-) B-)

BTW, I have had NO negative "fallout" from being
a graduate or student with any TUI program. So
sorry, you'll have to continue your axe grinding of
their program with other person's comments.

My guess is that TUI is not out of the woods yet.

Re: Still trolling I see Han?

My full answer to you is that my opnions about TUI not being straight forward does not represent any past or future school I have been a student of. I think the reason for the question would be to cloud the discussion about TUI and point it to another school. What relevance does it have? If you have specific questions about any partiuclar program, post a thread. Why do you want personal information on me? You can easily do a search and see what schools I am a part of, but that what relevance it has, I am not sure, so why answer it here on this thread....

I understand, you have a vested interest to attack those that have no issue, other than discussion, unbiased. I know how close I was to enrolling, and I would not be happy - look back on a search of threads, some even said TUI would be going for AACSB. I almost bought it, but decided to go another route.

I don't like that they are not answering the questions, I do not know much about them, but due to this thread, I inquired myself (like I was asked to), and they were not exactly forthcoming. Now it is my axe to grind!!?!?!?!?! Since I agreed that I should find out from the source and not speculate, and now am wrong for inquiring. Make up your mind!!!!!

"TUI is RA ... what's to comment on? " - you said above. Are you serious?? There is more to the issue than that, but I want to wait and see what the accreditation agency says.

I didn't open this can of worms again, as I was waiting for the report...... don't make it personal with me, I am just making my opinion known, as I am allowed here, so don't make it a personal issue with me - I don't know you, and don't care to share any personal information with you!

    TUI's Status

I am a current student at TUI . . . in response to my inquiry to the school regarding the status of the school's accreditation, I received a wonderful e-mail today from Dr. Edith Neumann, Dean of the College of Health Sciences and the College of Education . . . Dr. Neumann informed me that MSACHE acted to remove Touro College's probationary status and re-affirmed its accreditation -- furthermore, TUI continues to remain under the scope of Touro College accreditation. These actions occurred on MSACHE's June 23rd-24th, 2004, session. This is incredible news for all of TUI's students, and speaks well of TUI's efforts to insure current and future students that it continues to offer programs of the highest quality.
