    • What are your DL goals?
    • What kind of credentials do you want to obtain? Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral? Or all four along the way?
    • And in what? Business? Computers? Theology? ect...
    • Do you want to obtain the credentials for personal satisfaction or for professional advancement?
    • Am I asking too many questions? (Don’t answer this one)
    • You must have a reason for pursuing higher educational endeavors (Other then insanity, which is not a defense in this case). ;)

    Eh? :)

    Hello, Me Again.

I have an AAS in Technical Studies (Electro-Mechanical Speciality)

I will be enrolling in the BSET in General Engineering Technology (w/ a minor in Engineering Management) at Old Dominion University at the beginning of next year. I need to have credit in Calculus before I begin any of the upper level engineering courses, so I am in the process of CLEP'ing Calculus w/ Elementary functions within a few months (will be CLEPing a few other courses to get liberal arts classes out of the way).

If I were to continue on to a Masters, I would either go into an Engineer Management or Computer Science program (possibly an ME [masters of engineering], however, a BSET probably wont get me into a program like that w/o more math, for one. I would probably have to take many prequisite undergrad courses to qualify).

Thats probably as far as I will go (its pretty hard going to school part time because of work). I am a field service engineer (Tech Rep) in the semiconductor industry. I work compressed shifts which would seem like it would work well with taking partime classes. This is not true considering I work half a week for 12 hours per day and alot of courses require TWO days per weeks which clash with my schedule.

    Thats it in a nutshell.
