    So what will be next -- faked transcripts? No wonder DL has such a bad rep -- and there are people who really believe all DL degrees are just like the ones from this website.

    Actually, the site mentioned allows you to also get fake transcripts.

    I did have an occasion where a major U.S. research university did ask for a copy of my diploma and also my transcripts for an adjunct position. I was surprised by the diploma request but complied. I did do some teaching for them.

    It is reported that selling fake diploma/degrees in China (PRC) is the criminal offence and the operator is subject to three years' imprisonment with effect from 5 July 2001 (of course, if the operator is caught in China!). I don't know how to apply the law if the fake degrees are mailed from the US to buyers in China.

    It is also reported that the market in China has been flooded with fake degrees (home made or imported from US?). Some senior officials were spotted to use those fake degrees and caught.
