Looking at Fort Hays State University, it looks like it will be the college I am attending for my masters program (I know it is far off, but i like to plan things out a little bit).

I like their program as it is a mix of telecommunications and networking (as the degree name implies: Networking and Telecommunications degree).

I was wondering if anyone knew of any colleges that offer any kind of wireless, Cellular or Telecommunications focused degrees. I know Auburn state has Wireless engineering degrees for Hardware and software focuses. But they do not a Distance learning program.

    Thanks guys,

    me

DL offerings are slim in this area. I would venture due to the Lab or internship requirements. However,

Colorado Technical University, UMUC, Florida Institute of Technology, and Syracuse. Syracuse has a good program but requires some limited residency. Virginia Tech also has a good program. There are others.

Ohio University has a good program in this area but it is not DL.

Having said that what do you plan to do with the degree? I work in this area and may be able to offer some alternatives. If you have military or civilian networking experience (certs) you would be better served to look at the management aspects with either a MBA with an IS concentration or a CIS/MIS degree.

If you are pursuing an engineering bachelors there are several DL offerings that are first rate.

Stanford has a graduate certificate in "Wireless Personal Communication" via DL

They also have graduate degrees via DL, but the degrees are extremely selective. Also for the degrees, I think that you must be an employee of one of their corporate partners.

The certificates look like they would be very good. They are also expensive however (more than $3,000 per course, 3-4 courses)
    Hope this helps...
