Even if none of those particular sources lied, it wouldn't at all change the point that I made, because the conglomerate of legacy and left-wing media is much bigger than a handful of syndicated networks these days. I don't watch CBS, nor read anything from CNN, but NBC and ABC have done a wicked good job of putting the spin on the story (I usually actually enjoy both networks, even though the bias on political and politicized stories makes me cringe). So, I kick this back to you. Which shows would you accept as representative of those networks? If GMA and The View count, I have a feeling you'd happily concede before we even got started What would you consider a lie? Would telling a half truth, cherry-picking, using loaded language, being selective with which interview statements to fact check or letting guests say false things without any correction be considered lies? How about using the weasel words "some people say..." in order to introduce a false claim, while making absolutely no effort to assess its accuracy? Because they do that in almost every single show and that would be easy to demonstrate. Do you want me to find an incontrovertible assertion of fact that directly contradicts the evidence? I'd have to go back and re-watch episodes from weeks or months ago to find a specific time stamp and even then, I'd have to argue the point that they were wrong due to bias rather than error, and that would be an overwhelming cause to take up without sitting down with you and watching months of TV together in order to demonstrate a one-sided pattern. In that case, I'd expect lunch be on you.
