Johnson said he approached the Miller group collecting signatures for a proposed ballot measure in Nevada during a Hot August Nights event.

"The first thing that this guy said was 'Get the f*** out of my face with the N-word.' I said, 'What the f*** did you say?' He replied back to me 'I have a hanging tree in my backyard for n****** like (you)'" Johnson said.

Virginia City, Nevada is known for being very red and very racist. In the video, you can see a man in a MAGA hat laughing at the victim as he cried.

Very sad but not at all surprising. Racists have loved Trump especially after he got into politics that day he came down the escalator and said "Mexicans are rapists and criminals. There might be a few nice Mexicans."

    Incorrect.

I disagree with his characterization but what he actually said (referring to illegal migrants) was "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best," Trump said. "They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Hate to say it but this has long been discredited but has long been in circulation by Democrats (as with fake Steele Dossier urine story and now the debunked Vance couch story) because playing fast and loose with the truth, putting out fake stories and so on serves a political purpose. It is Orwellian and incurious people won't bother to research and will simply repeat it.

Almost none of the the people crossing the border are sent by anyone. That is hogwash. The statistics are clear that US born citizens are more likely to commit crimes in this country than are immigrants. It is just Trump being a racist.

Now the main point of my post was that racists support Trump and always have since he got into politics. Is it not clear to you that that is the truth? Do you need me to post articles showing white supremist supporting Trump?

My point was that your statement was demonstrably false and I demonstrated that.

As to this, what exactly is the point? When Donald Trump was elected there were a bunch of hate crimes that turned out to be fake. And we're not talking Fox News here we're talking mainstream middle to left leaning newspapers that reported that the hate crimes turned out to be fake. I think there was even one at the Air Force Academy. One person tried to explain they did it because they didn't like Trump and they wanted to demonstrate that he was a bad guy and that things would happen. Something like that.

Surely to you realize the logical fallacy in saying you can dig up a racist that supports Trump or a set of racists that support Trump. We can dig all kinds of people up that support the Democratic party and are very strange for one reason or the other.

I recall Rachel Maddow one time trying to link something to somebody I almost fell over laughing. It was like this article appeared and the guy who wrote this article is a third cousin to this person who knew this person who was a cousin to that person.

So Trump inviting a white supremist to dinner at his house is meaningless?

The point is that Trump is very racist and that is why racists love him. He has been racist his whole life or at least adult life.

Sounds like Trump's actual claims, then.

Indeed that is what fills both political parties these days (namely crap). It is reality show stuff from the parties and their surrogates. Drama and more drama. Mostly filler and very little beef.

I assume that what was Steve referring to was when I said, "Racists have loved Trump especially after he got into politics that day he came down the escalator and said "Mexicans are rapists and criminals. There might be a few nice Mexicans.""

I did not mean to imply that it was an exact quote. It was just a summary from memory.

Your further characterization was that "My point was that your statement was demonstrably false and I demonstrated that."

From my point of view my guess at a summary of what Trump said was reasonably close. If you disagree then okay, sorry it caused you such discomfort.

I was referring to Trump's actual remarks.

Trump, alone, is raising our crime rate. 34 felonies and potentially more coming. Sigh.

You are obsessed. Crushing on the Don.

Mostly political prosecution by Democrat District Attorneys and Judges and pushed by surrogates. You take most Americans and they have broken laws (according to one of Clinton's attorneys prosecuted during White Water and jailed but not for Whitewater wrong doing).

Of course we're obsessed with saving our democracy. I consider democracy a very good thing. Democracy is definitely not perfect but it is the best system we have. Our democracy is flawed and should be fixed, when compared to most democracies in the world. For example, a vote for President by a person in Montana is worth about three times more than my vote for President. JD Vance believes that some should have more votes than others but I consider one person one vote to be an important rule in a democracy.

The electoral college system is complicated but genius to ensure that there is representation all over the country. Otherwise we would have small pockets of the country and not just a country but a vast country deciding who governs them. That means groups of people in a few small areas would be determining based on their wants and needs people who would oversee the entire nation and fast swaths of the country would not be represented. That could easily lead to a civil war.

And, you're obsessed with me. Sorry, I don't date Trump cultists. A sexual harasser just like the demon you secretly admire.

Well having votes for the land is not the normal rule for democracies. I think one person one vote is the best way.
