No, not at all, there is no MAGA racism it's all fake news, by left media blowing it out of proportions..
There are some racists on both sides.
Including those who hate white people.

I calm for unity not divisions.

You think that everyone who expresses concern for Gazans is pro-Hamas. I think that everyone who votes for wannabe Hitler is a racist.

There are far more racists in the Republican party than the Democrat party. It has been that way since the late 1960's. It's why my parents, for example, switched from Democrat to Republican during that time. It's why the South switched from Democrat to Republican at that time. It's why most blacks vote Democrat. It is false to think that 10% or 20% of blacks are liberal. There are far more black conservatives than that. They just vote Democratic because Republicans have many racist tendencies.

I will need to do a better research, I always thought that It's not as bad as you describe and all my Israeli friends who are Jewish and some are Arabs and Druz are asking me why the Jews in the USA vote Democrat mostly.
My answer was that Nazi parties, KKK and other far right are voting GOP.
But I didn't really research this, it was just somewhat educated opinion. Israelis I think, and I can be wrong, prefer Trump to Harris.
Their fear is Harris will not be as supportive as President Biden was and cave to the Pro Palestinian Squad, etc.

Now Bill Clinton is accused of being racist

Clinton echoed sentiments voiced by right-wing Israelis ― such as equating all Palestinians with Hamas fighters ― that work to dehumanize occupied people so that large civilian casualties are more accepted in the public eye. The former president also argued that Israelis inhabited the land “before their faith existed,” referring to Islam

Clinton called that hesitation “a mistake.”

“I understand why young Palestinian and Arab Americans in Michigan think too many people have died, I get that,” Clinton said to the quiet crowd in Muskegon. “But if you lived in one of those kibbutzim in Israel, right next to Gaza, where the people there were the most pro-friendship with Palestine, most pro-two state solution of any of the Israeli communities … and Hamas butchered them.” (my addition - with the help of Gaza civilians)

President Clinton and Yitzak Rabin (Israel) worked out a deal with Yasir Arafat which would give Palestinians a "land of their own" recognized by the whole world. Arafat, at the last moment, rejected the deal and left Clinton and Rabin in the lurch. Arafat (an Egyptian)had gotten everything he wanted, but a peace deal would have left him with minimal status. Clinton and Rabin were furious and never forgot the treachery. I doubt that Mehdi Hasan cares about this history.

I don't know why more Jews vote Democratic. I was not trying to address that. The switch for racists from Democrat to Republican in the 1960's was triggered by the voting rights acts and equal rights acts of 1964 and 1968.

Not all Republicans or even MAGA Republicans are racist, but most of the racists are Republicans - and for those who aren't, they've decided that racist rhetoric or aligning oneself with racist interests is not a "deal breaker".

Indeed, for many of them the alternative, i.e Dems is a greater danger to the countries future.
But some will vote Dems even do they are GOP supporters, and some among Dems supporters will vote GOP.
Like Arnold Schwarzenegger will vote for Harris.

Almost every minority group mostly votes for Democrats: Jews, Black people, Hispanics, Asians, etc. There are some ethnic groups among Asians and Hispanics and some Black immigrant groups that tend to vote Republican, but overall, Republicans struggle with minorities. Like Rick Perry said, this is the consequence of catering to racist White southerners. Tim Scott's goofy self says that southerners switched to the Republican Party because they had a change of heart.

Sorry, it was the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965. Lyndon Johnson, a Democrat, got them passed and signed them into law. At the time he said that it would probably cost the Democratic party the vote in the next election. He was right about that but didn't realize that it would cause a permanent shift. Also, Lyndon Johnson was a racist like many southern Democrats were at that time.

That's why he understood southern racists so well. He and Lee Atwater agreed that poor White people will vote for policies that hurt them as long as those policies hurt Black people more.

True although we do have to give Lyndon Johnson credit for doing the right thing. I hasten to add here though that he did it to get blacks to vote Democrat so it wasn't really done purely for saintly reasons. He supposedly said something along the lines of, "I'll have those niggers voting Democratic for 200 years." He just didn't realize that the racists would be so upset with him that they wouldn't vote Democrat anymore. IIRC, he yelled that to someone when he was sitting on the toilet at the time. HAHAHAHA :D

I think he was driven by his desire to look good in history books, which he ruined with the Vietnam War. When I was in high school, they taught that he was influenced by his daughter to sign civil rights legislation for women, and benefits for Black people got tacked on to that.
