What is diversity and why do whites want it so bad?

I have been reflecting on this for a bit now and it seems odd to me that whites want to push themselves out of the picture all of the time. I was reading that white women only make up four percent of the world population, white males could not be far behind.

I click on university websites and that’s all they seem to go on about...WE ARE SO DIVERSE!!!

I think every single page has something about diversity?

I must ask you white people this...why are you all in a hurry to jump off a cliff? What’s so scary about taking pride in your own race? I mean you have done a great deal of wonderful things in the world, why are you allowing others to erode your nations and infrastructures? If you like diversity so much why do you stay in America? Travel to South Africa and enjoy the diversity there! Or the Middle East!

At the end of the day so you think that when you’re the minority (and you will be) that you will be left with anything after you have been stripped of your wealth and power in the name of diversity? I sit back and laugh at you guys as you literally reward me for being black (quarter white and another quarter of mixed races-thanks ancestry DNA)

I want to know an honest answer to the reason you white liberals want to do this so badly...have you seen what happened to the white liberals in South Africa? Have you seen what happens to minorities in any nations that are not White controlled?

Not scary but foolish, IMO. I don't see how I can take pride in what other people have done.

Exactly this. And as usual, George Carlin said it best:

You mean like in Dominica where I live part time and where... oops, everything is a hell of a lot better in this regard than in the U.S.?

Total population of some 72,000, with some 86% black and dependent on tourism. How can it be compared to much larger and more diverse nations?

Haha that where my mothers from. I never have been but she said it was very rough there for her and our family. I guess I need to go!

You do realize that what you just did there is basically the definition of moving the goalposts?

Tell her I said "sa ka fet". And yes, I'm completely serious, I've lived there off and on for nearly twenty years, and not just in town. When's the last time you were there?

Sadly she has passed and in my constant state of ignorance I did not take the opportunity to learn anything about there and never have been. I do plan on going...I seriously will get with you if I do so we can meet up, I really don't want to just do the tourist stuff. I have family there but I have never talked to them so that's not much use.

My condolences, however belated. If you PM me your details I can tell you whether I know any of your relatives, particularly if you let me know in which village your mom grew up. People's memories for relatives are very long there. I'd be truly delighted to make sure you reconnect there, both with your relatives and generally.
