WASC accredits substandard school?

    This problem existed long before NCLB (at least in my state). curricula are determined by "district adoption" and textbook adoption is a huge business in which individual teachers do not participate. My children attend a charter school where teachers are given the exact freedom and flexibility that you mention, but this method has been vehemently opposed by the districts and county office of education where I live.

    No. It does not. We have have heard of unpleasant stories of AACSB accredited schools here in th United States that are questionable at best. I can't name the school and the location. The last time I did that on this forum, I got into "trouble" resulting in several unpleasant correspondence I would like to avoid at this time.
