Validity of non-U.S. degrees in Oregon

    EITHER:

    1) J.D. from an ABA accredited school, or

    2) J.D. from a U.S. law school that is not accredited by the ABA plus

    -membership in good standing in a state bar and

    -active legal practice for at least three of the five years preceeding the application to the Oregon Bar.

    There's also a rather complex process for the evaluation of lawyers from foreign common law jurisdictions.

    Anyway, the unaccredited J.D. is recognized under certain circmstances.
