    That's a sign to practice better hygiene... it seems the ones most affected are of 'age' and have underlying issues due to their immunocompromised pre-existing conditions. I still think for the majority of the population who vaccinate and follow protocols in place, Covid would be treated like the yearly flu. It's a triple whammy nowadays with Covid, Flu, RSV. I recently read that the chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis are going up in numbers, hitting children or youth the most.

    Most Americans are partially vaccinated, and we were told years ago that booster shots would be required. We get the flu shot every year.
