I'm looking for courses that will help me to complete requirenents to CIS degree at a quick pace. I would rather take courses than blindly attempting CLEP and DANTES exams.

I'm looking at the online courses at LSU and BYU.

Does anyone know which courses from those schools definately meet the Techology Core and upper-level credit requirements of the BS CIS degree program at Excelsior?
Too bad neither school offers a course that fulfills Excelsior's Discrete Math requirements.

Athabasca University has the option of challenging courses. You only have to complete a couple projects and take one test. You can easily complete the whole process within a month or two.
Some of their normal courses are self paced. I'm in the process of challenging the comp200 course and my first "real" Athabasca course (Intro to Java) starts April 1st. You are given 6 months to complete their courses and 3 months to challenge.

I just started the Disc Math course at http://www.studyanywhere.txstate.edu/ . I have 9 months to complete the course. It was pretty cheap ... something like $280
