I did a post a few months back about how one of my students was teleconferencing into my class so that the school would not have to transport him between schools. Here's a picture... Anyway, despite trying to search for that post, I wasn't able to find it. I wanted to post a brief update. After a semester of teleconferencing, he took his state assessment test today. He scored a 587 out of 600, which is about two questions away from a perfect score. That's AMAZING! While I can't really attribute his success to the distance learning format, I can say it obviously didn't hurt him at all. He's a great kid, and I'm looking forward to possibly having him again next year, but this time physically in the classroom! -Matt
