UofL LLB and want to practice Law in Tampa

    Actually, here is a link to Mr. Pappas' discussion of how he qualified for the NC Bar. He makes exactly the same observations as have already been made on this thread but his comments are worth reading because he actually did it this way.

    Pay particular attention to his observations that the London LL.B. is NOT adequate preparation for an American Bar exam.

    The bottom line, really, is that if you want to practice law in the United States, get an American J.D. degree.

    If you can't afford (or can't get into) an ABA accredited school and your target state will accept an unaccredited J.D., do that.

    The University of London LL.B. is the "long way around" and, in the end, will contain a good bit of wasted effort, time and money.

    OTOH, if the goal is to earn a good undergraduate degree that just happens to be in law, perhaps to support future graduate study, the London program is a good choice.
