With best wishes, and thanks for your interest in programme, Vicky Smith Departmental Administrator _____ Paul Wright Head of the School of Cultural Studies Lampeter Campus 01570 424856 [email protected] 5 October 10 Dear Applicant Distance Learning BA Philosophy / Applied Philosophy I am writing to thank you for your interest in the Distance Learning Degree in Philosophy /Applied Philosophy. As you may know, the University of Wales Lampeter has recently come together with Trinity University College to form the University of Trinity Saint David; and during a period of considerable structural change, unfortunately, it has been decided not to offer this programme this year as intended. We are currently reviewing all of our provision and we are exploring the possibility of offering a similar applied qualification through a Professional Framework degree level qualification through which work-based experience can be accredited. This may be of interest to you. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise if this decision has adversely affected your own plans. I would be happy to discuss it, and likely future opportunities, with you should you so wish. Yours sincerely, Dr Paul Wright Head of School Cultural Studies
