You're not gonna publish or print a hard copy to put on your bookshelf ? Think of it as the new version of dragging out the old Kodak Carousel slide projector for your vacation pics.

I published a book with Apress last year (a bucket list item!), and if/when I earn my PhD I'm definitely going to get it bound and on the shelf beside it.

Nope. It represents a lot of things I'd rather forget.

Status update on - survived round #1 of QC with minimum updates, on to the 3rd reader (the content update).

Good work! QC1 is the tough part of the QC process. QC2 only looks at Chapter 5.

Has anyone gotten the dissertation printed and bound? If so what service did you use? What service does cumberlands used

UC sends you instructions on how to get it bound. Basically, you print your dissertation and mail the pages to them. They'll bind it at the school unless it's over 250 pages.

How do I know this? I am PhinisheD! What a relief.

Happy to answer any other questions, although I'll only provide answers I'm comfortable with. My previous advice given throughout remains the same.

What was the quality of the print dissertation

Thanks for the response. Your previous advice was spot on for me and allowed me to avoid potholes.

Excellent! Glad that helped out :) I am unsure on the quality since I didn't have mine printed, though from what I've heard they come out pretty good.
